Fishing In Florida

Intra Coastal Waterway – Chocopit Bay: Located where the St Johns River meets the Intra Coastal Water way. A local hang-out for the triple challenge (red bass, trout, flounder), dolphin often play in the swift currents and Chocopit is also teaming with wildlife. The Rosette Spoonbills and other wading birds are usually feeding in the bountiful waters of the surrounding marshes.

Intra Coastal Waterway – Dutton Island: Located off the Intra Coastal Waterway and has a beautifully marked trail system. This is one of Capt. Becky’s favorite places for both fishing and kayaking. The marked trail system winds through an estuary abundant with fish and foul. It’s not unusual to see the hunting ospreys or tailing red bass in a feeding frenzy. Dutton Island is an unknown treasure.
